Before the day
When should I RSVP by?
Please respond by February 24, 2027. We have to give our venue a final headcount shortly after, so late responses are genuinely hard for us to accommodate. RSVP here.
Can I bring a plus one?
We've reserved seats for the names listed on your invitation, so we're not able to accommodate additional guests. If you're unsure who's included in your invitation, check your RSVP form or reach out to us directly — we're happy to clarify.
Are kids invited?
This is an adults-only celebration, unless we've specifically approved your children with you beforehand. We adore your little ones — we just want you to have a night off. If you need help finding childcare for the evening, let us know.
Who do I contact if I have a question on the day?
Please don't call the bride or groom on the wedding day. Your point of contact is [Name], [Role — e.g. Maid of Honor] at [phone number]. They'll be able to help with anything that comes up.
Getting there
What time should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive by 11:30 AM and be seated by 11:50 AM. The ceremony begins promptly at 12:00 PM, and the doors close when it starts.
Is there parking at the venue?
[Yes — there is free on-site parking with roughly [N] spaces. / Parking is limited, so we recommend carpooling or a rideshare.] Update this answer once you've confirmed parking with your venue.
Is there transportation between the ceremony and reception?
[Describe your plan here — e.g. a shuttle running between the hotel block and the venue at set times, or that guests should arrange their own rideshare.] Uber and Lyft both serve the area reliably.
Are there hotels nearby?
Yes. We've looked at a few options close to the venue:
• [Hotel Name] — [distance] from the venue. [Room block code, if any.]
• [Hotel Name] — [distance] from the venue.
• [Hotel Name] — a budget-friendly option.
Book early — late April is a busy season in San Diego.
On the day
What's the dress code?
The dress code is Garden Chic — elevated garden party. Soft colors, florals, flowing fabrics, and shoes you can stand on grass in. Please avoid white, ivory and cream. We put together a full guide with examples.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
[The ceremony is outdoors and the reception is indoors. / Both are outdoors under cover.] Plan for some time on grass, and bring a light layer for the evening.
What happens if it rains?
We have a backup plan with our venue. [Describe it — e.g. the ceremony moves indoors to the [space name].] We'll let everyone know by email if anything changes.
What will the weather be like?
Late April in San Diego is usually lovely — highs around the mid-70s°F during the day, cooling to the high 50s°F after sunset. Bring a shawl, wrap or jacket for the evening.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We're having an unplugged ceremony — please keep phones and cameras put away until the ceremony ends. We've hired a photographer we love, and we'd rather see your faces than your screens. Once the ceremony's over, photograph everything.
What kind of food will be served?
[Describe your menu — e.g. a plated dinner with chicken, beef and vegetarian options, or a family-style spread.] You'll choose a meal preference for each guest on the RSVP form, and we'll accommodate allergies and dietary needs — just tell us there.
Will there be an open bar?
[Yes — there's a full open bar all night. / We're serving beer, wine and a signature cocktail, with a cash bar for anything else.] Either way, please drink responsibly and plan a safe ride home.
What's the money dance, and do I need cash?
It's a tradition in our families: guests pin or hand cash to the couple for a dance during the reception. It's entirely optional, but if you'd like to take part, bring small bills.
What time will the night end?
[The reception ends at [time]. / We'll wrap up around [time], with an after-party at [location].] We'll confirm the final timeline closer to the day.

• Florals — [Name]
• Catering — [Name]
• DJ / Band — [Name]

Where are you registered?
Everything is on our registry page — store registries, our honeymoon fund, and a few other ideas. Truly, your presence is more than enough.
I still have a question.
Email us at [your email] or text [phone number]. We'd much rather answer it than have you guess.
